Shipping, MOQ and Samples: Execute a BESTONE Thailand Procurement Program

For importers, distributors, retailers and commercial or rental buyers, the next step after selecting an HDPE folding table, chair or bench is to agree a controlled specification and an order plan. BESTONE confirms MOQ, sample arrangements, production scheduling, packaging and container loading for the exact model and project.

MOQ: Confirm the Model and Order Configuration

There is no single MOQ for every BESTONE product or private-label program. The minimum order depends on the model, color, branding, packaging and production arrangement. Send the quantity required for each SKU, your trial-order plan and estimated annual volume. BESTONE will confirm the applicable MOQ and whether a proposed mixed-model order is feasible in the quotation.

A standard product and a new OEM configuration should be reviewed separately. A buyer's target quantity becomes an agreed order only after the factory has confirmed the specification and commercial terms.

Production Lead Time: Agree the Starting Point and Delivery Milestones

Production lead time is confirmed for each order. The final schedule depends on the model, order quantity, material availability, packaging, customization and current factory capacity.

Before placing the purchase order, agree the dates for specification approval, sample approval where required, artwork approval, production, inspection and shipment preparation. New tooling or product development requires a separate schedule. Ocean transit and destination delivery are separate from factory production lead time.

Samples: Confirm the Purpose, Cost and Courier Method

Pre-production or approval samples can be arranged for suitable projects before bulk production. Identify whether you need a product sample, color sample, packaging sample or a sample for a defined test program. Confirm the model and revision so the sample represents the product being quoted.

Ask BESTONE to confirm sample pricing and availability for your project. Product charges, sample availability and freight responsibility are confirmed before dispatch. Where applicable, a buyer may provide a FedEx or other agreed courier account for freight-collect shipment.

Record sample approval in writing, together with the approved specification, color, branding, packaging and any required test or inspection plan.

Packaging: Approve a Packing Specification for Each SKU

Confirm pieces per carton, carton construction, protective materials, carton dimensions, gross weight, artwork, barcodes and shipping marks. State whether the shipment requires floor loading or pallets, and describe any retail, e-commerce or destination handling requirements.

ModelConfirmed packing referenceBuyer check
BTE-07 folding chair6 pieces per cartonConfirm the carton dimensions, gross weight, protection and artwork for the quoted revision.

OEM and private-label packing options are reviewed against the approved order specification. A change to the carton, protection or pallet plan can change cost, schedule and container utilization.

40HQ and Mixed-Container Loading: Use Approved Packed Data

Final container loading must be calculated from the approved carton dimensions, pieces per carton, gross weight, loading method and model mix. Palletized and floor-loaded quantities can differ. Confirm the final packing list, loading plan, container and seal records, and any buyer-required loading photographs or supervision before shipment.

See the mixed-model folding furniture container planning guide for carton control, loading sequence and practical quantity checks.

FOB Laem Chabang: Confirm the Final Quotation

BESTONE international container programs can be quoted FOB Laem Chabang, Thailand, subject to the agreed Incoterms, model, order quantity, packaging and final quotation. State your destination port and country, requested shipping term and target delivery window in the RFQ.

Any alternative shipping arrangement, freight quotation or destination delivery requirement must be confirmed separately for the project.

Factory Visit and Supplier Qualification

International buyers may arrange a factory visit by appointment in Samut Sakhon, near Bangkok. Review the model-specific manufacturing scope, HDPE blow molding, assembly, inspection, internal test evidence, packaging and shipment preparation relevant to your program.

Factory address: 39/14 Moo 5, Khok Krabue, Mueang Samut Sakhon, Samut Sakhon 74000, Thailand. Send your company details, models of interest, preferred dates, attendee count and audit or inspection requirements before visiting.

Use the BESTONE factory visit main page to plan the appointment and the 2026 factory compliance and audit update to review the separately stated audit scopes. Factory audits, internal product tests and third-party product certification are different evidence categories.

RFQ to Shipment: A Practical Buyer Workflow

  1. Submit the RFQ. Provide company and market, model or controlled dimensions, quantity by SKU, estimated annual volume, destination, branding, packaging, test or audit requirements and target schedule.
  2. Confirm the quotation. Resolve open specifications and agree the MOQ, price, shipping term, payment terms, sample plan and production schedule.
  3. Approve the product and packaging. Sign off the specification revision, sample where required, artwork, labels, carton configuration and inspection requirements.
  4. Confirm the order and production plan. Use the approved specification in the purchase order and agree the required production and quality-control milestones.
  5. Complete the agreed inspection. Confirm any factory, buyer or independent inspection arrangements, scope and required documentation before shipment.
  6. Approve the loading and shipment records. Confirm the packing list, loading method, final quantity, container records and export documents required for the order.

Buying commercial folding furniture under an OEM or private label isrnnot simply a matter of asking for a unit price. The quality of thernquotation depends on the quality of the information in the buyer’srnrequest.

When an RFQ identifies only a general product, such as “6 ft plasticrnfolding table,” suppliers may be pricing different dimensions, tabletoprnweights, frame structures, packaging methods or testing requirements.rnThose differences can create misleading price comparisons and costlyrnchanges later.

A complete RFQ gives the manufacturer a practical basis for reviewingrnfeasibility, specifications, packaging, quality requirements andrncommercial terms. It also helps the buyer compare suppliers on the samernbasis.

BESTONE Plastic Folding Furniture Co., Ltd. manufactures commercialrnHDPE folding furniture in Thailand for wholesale, retail, distribution, rnproject and private-label programs. The checklist below explains therninformation international buyers should prepare before requesting an OEMrnquotation.

Why arnComplete RFQ Matters for OEM Folding Furniture

Commercial HDPE folding furniture combines multiple systems: arnblow-molded tabletop or seat, a powder-coated steel frame, folding andrnlocking components, packaging and labeling. A change to one item canrnaffect several others.

For example, a different tabletop size may require a different frame, rncarton, loading plan or test arrangement. A retail carton may requirernmore protection and artwork control than bulk distribution packaging. Arndestination market may also have buyer-specific labeling, documentationrnor testing requirements.

The purpose of an RFQ is therefore to define the required productrnbefore the final commercial offer is approved. A useful RFQ shouldrnanswer five questions:

  1. What exact product does the buyer need?
  2. Where and how will it be used?
  3. What branding and packaging are required?
  4. What testing, audit or documentation requirements apply?
  5. What quantity, destination and delivery window should the supplierrnevaluate?

Step 1 —rnDefine the Product and Intended Application

Start with a model orrnverified dimensions

If a suitable model already exists, include the model number in thernRFQ. BESTONE’s commercial range includes products such as the BTE-2971FHrn6 ft fold-in-half table, BTE-3072H 6 ft rectangular table, BTE-1872 6 ftrnseminar table, BTE-2448FH 4 ft adjustable table and BTE-3434FH compactrnsquare table.

If the project requires a new configuration, provide a dimensionedrndrawing or a clear specification sheet. At minimum, state:

  • Open length, width and height
  • Folded dimensions, if relevant
  • Tabletop or seat material
  • Frame material and finish
  • Required color
  • Approximate target product weight, if controlled by the buyer
  • Folding, locking, handle or height-adjustment requirements

Photographs can help explain the intended design, but photographsrnalone are not a controlled specification. Important dimensions, rnmaterials and functional requirements should be written andrnapproved.

State the commercial userncase

The same general product category can serve very different channels.rnA table for an event-rental operator may be moved and folded frequently.rnA seminar table may be selected for efficient room layouts. A retailrnprogram may require consumer-facing artwork, barcodes and stricterrncarton presentation.

Tell the manufacturer whether the product is intended for:

  • Retail or e-commerce
  • Wholesale or distribution
  • Event and party rental
  • Hotels, banquets or catering
  • Schools or training centers
  • Offices and conference rooms
  • Commercial projects or institutions
  • Indoor, outdoor or mixed use

The intended application helps the manufacturer review the proposedrnconstruction, packaging and verification plan.

Step 2 — Lock thernProduct Specification

Tabletop and framernrequirements

Two folding tables may look similar in a catalog while usingrndifferent structural details. Buyers should request a model-specificrnspecification covering the HDPE tabletop and steel frame rather thanrnrelying on a generic description.

Useful control points include:

  • Open and folded dimensions
  • Tabletop thickness and approximate weight
  • Overall net weight
  • Steel tube dimensions and wall thickness where required
  • Frame geometry and support structure
  • Welding and powder-coating requirements
  • Hinges, locks, fasteners and foot caps
  • Adjustable-height positions, when applicable
  • Color standard and approved tolerance

For an existing model, confirm which values are standard and whichrnchanges would create a custom configuration. A modification should bernreviewed for its possible effect on tooling, materials, cost, packagingrnand testing.

Load requirements and testrnlanguage

Load information must be written carefully. A product’s publishedrnload capacity, an internal factory static test and an independentrnthird-party product certification are not interchangeable.

Your RFQ should state the required working-load claim, the applicablerntest method or customer protocol, the required laboratory or inspectionrnbody, and the documentation expected before shipment.

Internal tests can provide useful engineering and quality-controlrnevidence, but the applied internal test load should not automatically bernused as the product’s rated working load. If a market, retailer orrnproject requires third-party testing, include that requirement beforernthe quotation is finalized.

Step 3 — SpecifyrnBranding and Packaging

Private-label elements

Private labeling can involve more than adding a logo. Identify eachrncontrolled brand element, such as:

  • Product color
  • Molded, printed or applied brand identification
  • Product labels and warning labels
  • Instruction sheets
  • Carton artwork
  • Barcode, SKU and retailer labels
  • Country-of-origin marking
  • Shipping marks

Provide editable artwork, barcode data and placement instructionsrnaccording to the agreed approval schedule. Brand files should havernversion numbers so the buyer and factory are approving the samernrevision.

Packaging and logisticsrninputs

Packaging affects cost, product protection, carton dimensions andrncontainer loading. The RFQ should explain whether the project usesrnindividual cartons, multi-unit cartons, shrink wrap, corner protection, rndividers, pallets or floor loading.

Include:

  • Units per carton
  • Carton construction or performance requirement
  • Protective components
  • Retail or e-commerce handling requirements
  • Palletization or floor-loading preference
  • Maximum carton dimensions or weight, if applicable
  • Destination port and country
  • Label placement and shipping marks

Final container-loading quantity should be confirmed only after thernproduct configuration and packaging are approved. It can change when therncarton, protective material or pallet plan changes.

Step 4 —rnProvide Commercial and Compliance Information

A factory cannot prepare a meaningful project quotation without basicrncommercial inputs. State the trial quantity, estimated annual quantity, rnexpected order frequency, destination market, requested Incoterm, targetrndelivery window and preferred payment structure.

Also identify all qualification requirements early. Depending on therncustomer and market, these may include factory audits, socialrnresponsibility requirements, security controls, quality-managementrndocuments, product testing or pre-shipment inspection.

BESTONE’s published Bureau Veritas result is a factory audit coveringrnits stated scope. It is not ISO 9001, BSCI, SA8000 or a productrncertification. Buyers should identify their required audit scheme andrnproduct standard so each requirement can be reviewed separately.

MOQ, lead time and loading quantity should be confirmed for thernspecific inquiry. They depend on the selected model, customization, rnpackaging, order quantity, material plan and current productionrnschedule.

Step 5 —rnAgree on Samples, Approvals and Change Control

Before mass production, the buyer and manufacturer should agree onrnwhat constitutes approval. Depending on the project, the approvalrnpackage may include a specification sheet, drawing, color sample, rnpackaging artwork, physical sample, test plan or golden sample.

The approved version should identify:

  • Model and revision
  • Product dimensions and materials
  • Frame and hardware configuration
  • Color and appearance requirements
  • Labels, artwork and packaging
  • Inspection criteria
  • Test requirements
  • Authorized deviations, if any

Any later change should be reviewed for cost, timing and technicalrnimpact before it is introduced into production. A controlled changernprocess reduces the risk of using an old drawing, label or packagingrnfile.

Why Source OEMrnFolding Furniture from Thailand

For buyers developing a diversified supply chain, Thailand canrnprovide an additional manufacturing base in Southeast Asia. The decisionrnshould still be based on model-level specifications, factory capability, rnevidence, commercial terms and execution—not country of originrnalone.

BESTONE focuses on commercial HDPE folding tables, chairs andrnbenches, with support for OEM, private-label, wholesale and exportrnprograms. Buyers can review the factory tour, product pages,rnquality-test evidence and factory-audit information before submitting anrnRFQ.

A clear inquiry allows the factory team to identify open questionsrnearly and prepare a quotation that reflects the actual product andrnpackaging program.

Procurement FAQ

Whatrninformation is essential for an OEM folding-table quotation?

At minimum, provide the model or dimensions, intended application, rnquantity, destination, packaging, branding and testing requirements. Arncomplete specification produces a more reliable quotation than arnphotograph and target price alone.

Can BESTONE supportrnprivate-label packaging?

Private-label options may include product color, labels, cartonrnartwork and export packaging, subject to the approved specification, rnorder quantity and project review.

Are MOQ and leadrntime the same for every model?

No. MOQ and lead time are confirmed for each inquiry because theyrndepend on the model, configuration, packaging, order quantity, materialrnplan and current production schedule.

When shouldrnthird-party testing be specified?

State third-party testing requirements in the RFQ, before the finalrnquotation and sample approval. The buyer should identify the applicablernstandard, laboratory or inspection body and required report.

Is arnfactory audit the same as product certification?

No. A factory audit evaluates the factory against its stated auditrnscope. Product certification or testing applies to a defined product andrntest method. BESTONE’s published Bureau Veritas factory-audit resultrnshould not be interpreted as a product certification or another auditrnscheme.

When canrncontainer-loading quantity be confirmed?

Confirm loading quantity after the product and packagingrnconfiguration are approved. Carton dimensions, protection materials, rnpalletization and loading method can change the result.

Request an OEM orrnWholesale Quotation

To request a project-specific review, send BESTONE the target model, rnquantity, destination market, packaging requirements, brandingrnrequirements and required test or audit standards. The team can thenrnevaluate the specification, identify missing information and prepare anrnappropriate quotation.
