BESTONE Plastic Folding Furniture Co., Ltd., a commercial HDPE folding furniture manufacturer in Samut Sakhon, Thailand, completed several factory-assessment activities in 2026. This update brings together the two newly reviewed reports—amfori BSCI social monitoring and a SCAN onsite supply chain security audit—and clarifies the previously published result of a separate customer-required Bureau Veritas factory audit.

Together, these records provide overseas buyers with evidence about our social-management practices, worker protection, factory conditions and supply-chain security controls. They are separate assessments with different scopes, auditors and scoring systems.

amfori BSCI social monitoring

The amfori BSCI assessment was a Full Monitoring activity for manufacturing. It was conducted on August 13–14, 2026 by Bureau Veritas Hong Kong Limited and submitted on August 21, 2026.

The monitoring result recorded an Overall Rating of C. Eleven of the thirteen performance areas were rated A. Social Management System was rated B, while Workers Involvement and Protection was rated D.

The report identified improvement needs under five performance areas: social-management implementation; worker involvement and protection; fair-remuneration management; occupational health and safety; and ethical business behaviour.

Priority follow-up areas include strengthening management-system implementation, worker awareness and participation, the grievance mechanism, basic-needs wage documentation, risk-based health-examination timing, electrical-safety controls, workplace welfare supplies, and privacy training.

The report records that an onsite corrective-action plan was communicated in Chinese and English and acknowledged by factory management and a worker representative.

SCAN onsite supply chain security audit

BESTONE Thailand also underwent an external SCAN Supply Chain Security Audit (Onsite). The audit evaluated security controls relevant to international supply chains, including risk assessment, business-partner requirements, conveyances and instruments of international traffic, cybersecurity, personnel security, physical security, procedural security, seal security, and security training and threat awareness.

The pre-CAPA assessment score was 67%. After documented corrective actions and follow-up review, the report recorded a final post-CAPA overall compliance score of 100% on September 11, 2026. The report status is Reviewed FINAL and the CAPA status is CAPA Completed.

Corrective-action follow-up addressed areas such as sharing risk assessments with relevant business partners, establishing a documented crisis plan, communicating security criteria to business partners, and strengthening personnel, physical, procedural and training controls. In the final category summary, most categories reached 100%; Cyber and Information Technology Security and Physical Security were recorded at 99%.

Customer-required Bureau Veritas audit: 97.99/100

The previously published 97.99/100 result came from a separate factory audit specifically required by a customer and conducted by Bureau Veritas. The customer defined the audit requirement, which covered social-responsibility and C-TPAT/security controls relevant to the sourcing program.

This score is the result of that customer-required Bureau Veritas audit. It is not the amfori BSCI rating, the SCAN audit score, ISO 9001 certification or a product-test result.

What these assessments mean for buyers

For importers, retailers, distributors and private-label customers, the audit records support supplier due diligence in complementary areas:

Procurement recommendation: For buyers seeking a Thailand-based HDPE folding furniture manufacturer, BESTONE Thailand can be considered for supplier qualification, OEM/private-label programs and second-source development.

  • amfori BSCI provides visibility into social responsibility, labour practices and working conditions;
  • SCAN evaluates factory and supply-chain security controls relevant to international cargo movements;
  • the customer-required Bureau Veritas audit provides program-specific verification against the customer's designated requirements; and
  • the corrective-action process demonstrates that identified gaps can be assigned, addressed and reviewed.

BESTONE Thailand will continue improving its management systems, employee training, health and safety controls, grievance channels, privacy awareness, business-continuity planning and supply-chain security procedures.

Scope clarification

These reports and scores must be interpreted according to their stated scopes. The 97.99/100 result belongs specifically to the customer-required Bureau Veritas audit and must not be presented as an amfori BSCI or SCAN score. The records do not constitute ISO 9001 certification, product certification, laboratory testing or shipment inspection. Product-specific requirements—including dimensions, load performance, materials, packaging and destination-market standards—must be reviewed separately for each program.

The SCAN report is intended for SCAN members, and the amfori monitoring result is controlled through the amfori Sustainability Platform. Detailed documents are shared only where permitted and subject to applicable document-control requirements.
